DO NOT Recommend. They don’t take care of patients. Staff are Rude.

I came to Lakeport Post Acute with a brand new colostomy and bag, very little knowledge, and quite a bit of anxiety. The staff was invariably kind and compassionate and answered my questions patiently, often anticipating what I would want to know next. I was very weak, and the PT team has brought me from an inability to stand, to confidently walking without support. The nursing staff is a real team, helping and supporting each other to best meet the needs of their residents. There are residents who are emotionally volatile, and I never saw a staff member react with anything but sympathy and a desire to bring comfort. The teamwork impresses and reassures me. I feel safe here. I am learning to care for my ostomy and myself. I will go home confident in my newfound competence. In a few months I will probably have the opportunity to surgically reverse my ostomy. Knowing Lakeport Post Acute is available to assist me through what I have been told can be aa difficult recovery will play a large role in my decision on whether or not to undergo the reversal surgery. When I go home, I will feel a little sad at leaving people I have come to regard as friends, and I will always be grateful for their skilled and loving care.

I recently had a family member who was potentially in need of a skilled nursing facility, and I reached out to several locations to gather information so our family could make an informed decision. I have to say, my experience with Lakeport Post Acute truly stood out. From the very beginning, everyone I spoke with was incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate. All of my questions and concerns were thoroughly addressed, but what meant the most to me was that I genuinely felt heard and understood. Making decisions about the care of a loved one can be overwhelming, and having someone take the time to walk me through even the smallest details made such a difference. I never felt rushed or like I was just another phone call. Instead, I felt that my concerns mattered and that there was genuine compassion behind every answer I received. I am incredibly appreciative of the time, patience, and kindness shown to me. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Lakeport Post Acute to any family looking for a skilled nursing facility and wanting to feel confident that their loved one will be in caring and compassionate hands.

As a healthcare provider for over 30 yrs, I was skeptical about sending my mom to a nursing facility for rehabilitation as most don’t have the greatest reputation. Lakeport Post Acute changed my mind. From the time she was admitted she was treated with dignity and respect! The nurses, CNAs, Admin, social workers and mostly Physical Therapists are all top notch! I wouldn’t hesitate to send any of my family back to this place for rehab. You know you’ll be in good hands at Lakeport Post Acute!

I would personally admit myself into lakeport post acute knowing I’d be 100% taken care of. The whole staff is amazing, they are welcoming, and very professional in ALL fields. They all have a smile and make you fill at home. My wife says there food is not bad either.Lol.

The entire staff at Lakeport Acute were a staff of Angels. The facility is very clean and the staff are always so polite and helpful with either the patients or family members. My mother was there for 18 months til she passed. There is no other facility that I would’ve wanted my mother to be at. The staff treat everyone as family and go out of their way for the residents. Everytime I went there I was able to get updates on my mom. Even after my mother passed away the staff told me that if I needed anything to reach out to them and they would help me out. This staff is committed to the well being of all their patients and treat them all with complete dignity and respect at all times and with big smiles. I recommend Lakeport post acute to everyone.

This place DOES not take care of any patients and will leave them in bed FOR DAYS in their own urine. I would not take any family here unless you simply want them treated in the WORST way possible. It makes me so upset to trust a place with your family and they do not treat them with any respect what so ever and most of the time will do anything but check on them even in their worst state. He was there for 30 days and now i have family sitting in the hospital and doctors telling us he was given the wrong meds and CLEARLY not taken care of. He is old and sick and wants to be in a comfortable place and this place DOES NOT have any comfort, care , respect, kindness, or wellbeing i can only pray he will be okay.

Would NOT recommend!!! I recently had a loved one with them for about 30 days and within the 30 days he developed very clear signs of neglect, including severe bedsores, UTI, etc. and had to be hospitalized the very first day coming home along with that before he was released back to us they called and were asking if we would leave five star review

Family member was put here for a month because they were highly recommended. At the end of the month he got released, and we saw that his whole body is covered in bed sores, meaning they didn’t move him at all the entire time he was there. There’s signs that he was sitting in his own wet pants for most of the time he was there aswell. His legs and feet were so swollen and all they did was cut the ankles of his pants so they wouldn’t cut off circulation instead of actually helping him. Before he was released, they asked us to give them a 5 star review. Luckily we waited until he got home because now I can warn everybody looking into this place that it is not to and NEVER to be trusted with your loved ones. Neglect is a very serious matter and I’m hoping this will help anybody else avoid it. This is not a fake review, this was my grandpa that went through this. I do not recommend this place whatsoever.

Lakeport post acute is a well kept clean facility. Staff is attentive most of the time. I would highly recommend

Lakeport post acute exceeded my quality and time of recovery, if 5 femur fractures. The staff was very considerate about my care and well being. I would recommend Lakeport post acute to anybody needing skilled nursing.

This facility has very polite and kind employees, very clean and neat. Physical therapy is amazing, CNA’s are so helpful. I would recommend to anybody needing skilled nursing.

I came to Lakeport Post Acute after surgery, this was my first time in a skilled nursing facility. The employees here are so caring, helpful and trusted. Housekeeping was amazing, such a clean facility. My physical therapists was so attentive and helpful. 5 stars is not enough for this facility.

Lakeport Post Acute really helped my partner get back on his feet and be able to come home. The facility was very clean. Their Staff was friendly and answered all our questions. The Nurses/CNAs were available and attentive. I was most impressed with the Physical Therapy Dept – my partner was given personal PT everyday and they had Group Classes to improve motor skills. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends if their family ever needs a place to rehabilitate.

My second stay here. I was always treated kindly with respect. The CNAs were hard workers. The administration handled everything as I needed thank you

Highly recommend Lakeport post acute. Been treated with the upmost respect during my stay. Physical therapy is excellent. I have been here during four different recoveries and would recommend to anybody.

I recently stayed at Lakeport post acute. The facility was extremely clean. Housekeeping was great 9/10. The food was very good. The physical therapy staff was excellent. They helped with everything. The Nursing staff was great. The full staff here was just very friendly overall. 10 out of 10 I would recommend anybody coming here.

So far it has been a really good experience. Some of the CNAs are too young, many are amazing and really care. They treat me great. Physical therapy is great but I would like more exercises. The food is good so far. The facility is clean and comfortable. Overall a really great experience.

My mother was at Lakeport Post Acute for 100 days, released home today! We were admitted to a different facility at first and I was so grateful that we were able to be moved much closer to home. From the moment we were accepted there, everyone from administration to transport to dietician to cleaning staff were professional and kind. The therapy staff was so incredibly kind and conscientious. And they worked hard to get her up and going! There was a time when she was first admitted we weren’t sure she would be coming home, but they worked like crazy to get her mobile again. All the nursing staff, from RNs to CNAs to everyone in between was thoughtful and lovely. Truly, my family doubted she would make such an incredible recovery. We credit that to how conscientious the therapists were and the care of all who cared for her. What you do isn’t easy, yet you do it with grace and kindness. I cannot thank the whole team enough!

They helped me recover from pneumonia and regain my strength. I love the staff, physical therapy and activities.

I recently stayed at Lakeport post acute. I found the facility to be fantastic, the staff was very helpful and attentive, the food was good, dietary staff was very helpful. The facility was very clean. Houskeepg was fantastic. Therapy was top notch. I would recommend wholeheartedly coming to Lakeport Post Acute if you ever need the care.

I’m very happy with the care I am receiving here. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The OT and PT teams are great. They really know their stuff. They have been very helpful. The staff have a good relationship with each other and constantly help each other out. Everyone is very cooperative. It makes for a very supportive climate in which to heal.
